A statement from the Minister of the Interior stated that, as part of taking the necessary measures to integrate the next group of conscripts into military service starting from September 1, 2026, in implementation of the high instructions of King Mohammed VI, the Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the military service census for the year 2026 will be conducted during the period from March 2, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
The statement explained that, accordingly, and in accordance with the legal provisions related to military service, the Central Committee for the Military Service Census, chaired by the President of a Chamber at the Court of Cassation, held a meeting on Wednesday at the Ministry of Interior headquarters, dedicated to setting the criteria to be adopted for extracting the names of young people invited to fill out the census form for military service for the conscription group of 2026. During this meeting, the aforementioned Central Committee determined the specific criteria for extracting the required number of names of young people who may be summoned to fill out the census form for military service, based on the database related to the military service census prepared by the Ministry of Interior. In light of the criteria approved by the aforementioned committee, the process of compiling lists of young people whose names have been extracted and categorized by prefectures, provinces, and prefectures of districts in whose territorial jurisdiction they reside will begin. The services of the prefectures, provinces, and prefectures of districts across the national territory will print census notices and deliver them to their recipients. In this context, the Minister of the Interior called on young people who will receive the census notice to promptly fill out their census form via the website dedicated to the military service census: (www.tajnid.ma).
