HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
In the context of its interaction with circulating data regarding the judicial prosecution in France of the French citizen "J. L." on charges related to sexual assaults on minors, the organization "Don't Touch My Son" launched an urgent appeal addressed to anyone suspected of being a potential victim or a direct or indirect witness, or who has information that can contribute to revealing the truth, in order to communicate with it as soon as possible in support of the path of justice and the disclosure of all facts related to the case.
The organization affirmed, in a statement addressed to the public, that all testimonies will be treated with complete confidentiality, while ensuring the protection of the identity of those who communicate, and providing psychological support and legal assistance when needed, stressing that its goal is to enable victims to break the silence within a safe and respectful space, away from any pressure or intimidation. It also stressed that protecting children is a collective responsibility, and that any information, even if it seems simple, may be crucial in giving victims justice and strengthening the path to truth. In the same context, the organization warned that silence does not protect society but opens the way for the aggressor to escape accountability, considering that testimony is a courageous act and a civil responsibility that contributes to preserving the dignity of victims and consolidating trust in justice. The organization concluded its appeal by inviting anyone who has relevant information to communicate with it through confidential communication channels, confirming its commitment to continue mobilization and awareness until the truth is fully revealed, within the framework of respect for the law and the rights of victims.
