HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Algerian content creator Anes Tina addressed a message to Algerian officials, revealing his exclusion and marginalization since 2016, confirming that he was banned from appearing in audio-visual media, both public and private, because of his stances and the content of some of his videos.
Tina said in a video he posted on his social media accounts that he has become "one of the hated ones" for years, pointing out that the reason for this goes back to a video entitled "Rani Zafan" that he published in 2017, which sparked widespread controversy at the time. The content creator and screenwriter explained that this work was a turning point in his career, after some parties considered it a crossing of red lines. Anes Tina had previously criticized the focus of Algerian public television on news about Morocco, versus what he described as ignoring the issues and concerns of Algerian citizens. Tina called on his country's media to give priority to addressing the social and economic problems experienced by Algerians, instead of being preoccupied with external issues.
