HIBAPRESS – Mohammed Manfalouti
With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, and immediately after the announcement of the iftar time, swarms of motorcycles begin to move, most of them coming from the areas surrounding the city of Settat from its four directions, their owners unleash the sounds of their terrifying motorcycle engines, passing like lightning without the slightest respect for the rules of the traffic law that regulates traffic and movement.
Dangers threaten the lives of safe citizens and young children, and in order not to repeat the scenario of the incident of mercy in Casablanca resulting from the collision of a motorcycle driver and a policeman while trying to stop him, "HIBAPRESS" learned from its sources that the provincial security services in the city of Settat launched night campaigns to control the rhythm of the movements of these reckless people and to arrest those who violate the law. But the question that arises is, will these campaigns be able to curb the owners of this phenomenon, who only like to appear with excessive speed and infiltrate between cars at traffic lights, and some of them remain stationed around educational institutions, where the phenomenon reaches its peak with the time of the girls leaving the doors of secondary and preparatory schools in the evening to complete the crowded scene, terrifying sounds, lightning speed and acrobatic show. Those interested in local affairs and zealous people from the city's residents demanded the intensification of campaigns in various streets and at traffic lights to surprise these reckless people and catch them without allowing them to escape. Citizens hope that the concerned authorities in the city will find an effective security approach to address the phenomenon of "motorcycles with their annoying sounds", which has returned strongly to the streets, neighborhoods, alleys and in front of educational institutions.
