The "Al-Bounat" association announced the launch of a national competition for voluntary initiatives coinciding with the month of Ramadan 1447 AH, in a step aimed at promoting the culture of volunteer work and consolidating the values of positive citizenship, especially among young people.
The association explained that this competition is open to young people, national, regional and local associations, in addition to educational institutions, with the aim of encouraging field initiatives with a direct social impact, and stimulating the living energies to engage in serving the community during the holy month. This initiative is based on supporting small projects capable of making a tangible impact within the community, especially in the areas of social solidarity, environment and field, education and training, health and accompaniment, as well as social innovation. The organizing party stipulated the implementation of the initiatives during the month of Ramadan, with the adoption of voluntary work as a basis for them, away from any activity of a commercial nature, with the need to document the various stages of implementation through photos and short videos. The competition goes through the stages of electronic registration, then field implementation, then the evaluation stage by a specialized jury, before crowning the winners during a special national ceremony, where important cash prizes were allocated, in addition to the prize of embracing one of the initiatives and turning it into a sustainable annual project.
