HIBAPRESS – c.sayyad
The series "Release" received widespread reactions on social media platforms, following the great praise received by its star Amr Saad, as a number of followers considered that his performance evokes aspects of the late star Ahmed Zaki's school, especially in the depth of embodying the characters and full integration into their psychological details.
Followers praised the expressive energy that Amr Saad presents on the screen, confirming his reliance on a sincere inner feeling that is reflected in facial expressions and vocal tones, which gives the character a convincing human dimension. They also pointed out his ability to embody complex psychological conflicts, by using looks and silence as two dramatic tools that precede the word, which are elements that have always been associated with Ahmed Zaki's performance in his cinematic works. On the level of dramatic construction, the series presents a cohesive plot in which personal, social and family dimensions overlap, within an ascending rhythm that maintains the element of suspense from one episode to another. The character "Abbas" stands out as a basic focal point in the course of events, as it has turned into a wide axis of discussion among followers, in light of increasing questions about its true motives and the challenges it faces, especially when it comes from the closest circle to it. With the successive display of episodes, "Release" consolidates its position among the most prominent competing works in the Ramadan 2026 drama race, relying on a strong acting performance and a directorial vision that maintains the cohesion and attractiveness of the narrative until the last moment.
