HIBAPRESS learned from a source that an elderly man died on Saturday evening after a fire broke out inside his home in the village of Bouderaa, belonging to the Ait Ayach commune in the Midelt province, in an accident that left a state of sadness and grief among the residents of the area.
According to the same source, the victim was found dead inside his home after a fire broke out in parts of the house, where it is likely that the fire was caused by a gas leak from a gas cylinder that was inside the house, but the exact causes of the accident are still under investigation by the competent authorities. Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the local authorities and the Royal Gendarmerie, along with elements of the Civil Protection, moved to the scene, where the site of the accident was secured and intervention was made to extinguish the fire, while an investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution to determine the circumstances of the incident and the circumstances of the outbreak of the fire. This tragic accident has left a state of shock and sadness among the residents of the village, who expressed their regret for the death of the victim in tragic circumstances, stressing that such incidents highlight the importance of exercising caution in the use of gas cylinders inside homes, especially in rural areas.
