This is within the framework of efforts to enhance road safety and maintain public order within the urban area. The operation is personally supervised by the Wali of Security of Errachidia, who is known for his experience and high efficiency.
An informed source stated that various security services have mobilized their elements to carry out field monitoring operations, which included a number of main axes and crossing points, in addition to establishing judicial dams at the entrances to the city. The interventions focused on verifying the legal documents of motorcycles, including insurance, driving licenses, and gray cards, as well as monitoring the extent to which technical safety conditions are respected. These operations resulted in the seizure of a group of motorcycles that do not meet legal requirements, either due to the absence of mandatory documents or the violation of traffic rules within the urban area. The campaign also paid special attention to motorcycles that have undergone non-conforming mechanical modifications, especially at the engine or exhaust system level, due to the implications for safety and public tranquility. According to the same source, these measures come in response to repeated complaints about some dangerous behaviors, such as show-off driving and excessive speed, especially during the night, which witnesses significant activity after iftar. Sources confirmed that the adopted approach is not limited to the punitive aspect, but also includes raising awareness of the importance of respecting traffic laws and establishing a culture of responsibility among road users. These operations are expected to continue in the coming weeks, with the aim of supporting efforts to reduce traffic accidents and enhance the sense of road security within the city.
