Saudi influencer Khaled Al-Olayan announced his departure from Algeria, through a post published on his official accounts, in which he explained that his visit was not completed due to "circumstances that do not allow continuation."
Al-Olayan said in his post, addressing his followers: "My Algerian brothers, I am true to my promise, God willing, I will visit Algeria, but now the circumstances do not allow continuation."
The announcement of the departure came at a time that coincided with the escalation of regional tensions against the backdrop of the outbreak of the war between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
Unlike his previous trip to Morocco, which received wide dissemination through video clips highlighting the natural scenery, heritage, culture, and local cuisine, Al-Olayan's visit to Algeria saw a relatively modest interaction on social media platforms, both in terms of viewing rates and the extent of dissemination.
