American President Donald Trump said on Friday that his demand for Iran to offer "unconditional surrender" may mean the complete destruction of its military capabilities, not necessarily a formal declaration of surrender.
In a phone call with the Axios website, Trump said: "Unconditional surrender may be that the Iranians announce it, but it may also mean that they are no longer able to fight because they have no one or nothing to fight with."
Trump's statements came hours after a post on the "Truth Social" platform, in which he ruled out any agreement with Tehran, demanding "unconditional surrender."
