The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced today, Sunday, that air defence systems have destroyed 95 missiles and 164 drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain since the start of the Iranian aggression against the Kingdom.
The General Command affirmed, in a statement reported by the Bahrain News Agency, that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian objects and private property constitutes a "flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter," adding that "these attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security."
It stated that the air defence systems continue to confront successive waves of Iranian aggression.
The General Command also called on everyone to stay in their homes and not go out except for extreme necessity, while adhering to the highest degrees of caution and safety.
Meanwhile, Iranian missiles and drones continue to target a number of Arab countries against the backdrop of the tensions witnessed in the region, which has been condemned by various countries and parties, demanding a halt to these attacks.
