However, their quick intervention was a rescue that left no room for the attacker to carry out his crime, as they managed to control him and neutralize him inside the mosque before he harmed anyone.
According to eyewitness testimonies, the worshippers were in a state of tension and terror, which prompted them to act immediately and without hesitation. This sudden incident surprised everyone and sparked a wave of mobilization among those present, who could not hide their shock at what they were witnessing. Preliminary information indicates that the person who carried out the assault may be suffering from mental disorders, which may explain his insane behavior in such circumstances. National security elements quickly rushed to the scene after being notified of the incident, where they were able to arrest the attacker and transfer him to the mental hospital in Al-Arwi to undergo the necessary examinations.
