Casablanca Police revealed the truth about a video circulating on social media applications, showing a woman demanding the release of surveillance camera footage to determine the whereabouts of two siblings, aged 14 and 15, after the incident was presented in a way that suggested a criminal background.
The security services clarified in an explanatory statement that this incident dates back to 2025 and concerns the voluntary departure of two siblings, a boy and a girl, from the family home, before they were later found in a public park in the city of Berrechid. The same data added that the judicial investigations initiated by the competent authorities at the time confirmed that the children were not subjected to any assault, and that their departure from the family home was not motivated by criminal motives or related to any criminal suspicion. Casablanca Police confirmed that the publication of this clarification comes within the framework of informing public opinion and dispelling any ambiguity that may accompany the circulation of such clips, especially those that may create a feeling of insecurity as a result of presenting the facts outside their true context.
