The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Monday, that the weather will remain relatively cold to locally cold in the Atlas Mountains and the Rif, as well as the high plateaus and the southeast, during the morning and night.
It is also expected that low clouds will form, somewhat dense, over the northern and central Atlantic plains, and Walmas, and the Sais region, and the north of the eastern region, with the formation of foggy masses or local fog. The sky will be partly cloudy in the Rif, the Atlas, the Mediterranean coast, the eastern region, and the northwest of the country with scattered rain drops. Other rains or local showers are also expected over the northern and central Atlantic plains, the west of the Mediterranean coast, the Sais region, Walmas, the Atlas, and the north of the eastern region, during the second half of the night. Somewhat strong winds will also be recorded over the central coasts and the southern provinces, and locally in the southeast, which will lead to the scattering of local dust. As for the minimum temperatures, they will range between 5- and 0 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, and between 0 and 6 degrees in the Rif, the high plateaus and the eastern slopes of the Atlas, and between 8 and 15 degrees locally in the desert provinces and the southeast, and it will be between 5 and 8 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. Temperatures during the day will witness a slight decrease in the eastern and southeastern regions and the northern plains, while they will be in a slight rise or change in the rest of the other areas. The sea will be calm to slightly turbulent in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly turbulent to rough between Tangier and Larache, while it will be rough to very rough on the rest of the other coasts.
