HIBAPRESS – Mohammed Manfalouti
In the time of their international day, we must remember the pivotal role of women as the pillar of the tent and its lantern that burns to illuminate others. She is the woman, including the mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt.. She is the core of the family, its beating heart, its foundation, and its backbone, as the house does not stand firm in her absence. In her presence, warmth, tenderness, motherhood, and breastfeeding are present, and in her absence, darkness prevails, the family is scattered, and the children are lost in the clutches of deviations. The mother is a school if you prepare her, you prepare a people of good morals and values. This is the most precious treasure for any nation, so it is necessary to ensure its continuity and preserve it with health and care.
She is the woman who requires special care to preserve family cohesion and build generations. Yes, she requires health care to confront the deadly killer breast cancer that lurks for this group of the fairer sex.
It is responsible for a high percentage of deaths worldwide, and despite the progress made that has enabled a better understanding of the mechanisms of cancer development, the causes of breast cancer are still unknown at present, but some studies have shown that there are factors that encourage breast cancer and that good health preservation allows for reducing the risk of this cancer.
In this regard, the ministry in charge of the sector remains responsible for launching extensive campaigns to raise awareness of the dangers of this deadly killer and provide the necessary support to raise awareness of its seriousness and expedite its detection and treatment, in addition to providing those infected with it with care that alleviates its impact.
Doctors and specialists in the field have warned of the danger of this silent malignant tumor, which increases the likelihood of infection with age, not to mention family or genetic factors, in addition to the risks of hormones (early puberty, menopause at a later age, first pregnancy at a later age…) and excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking, and weight gain or obesity.
While others went on to consider that contact with chemical substances in the living environment, organochlorine pesticides, can contribute to the formation of breast cancer, but it is difficult to link cause and effect, pointing out that breastfeeding is a protective factor, especially if it is done for more than a year or two.
Medical sources revealed signs that may appear on a woman in this case, where breast cancer is first manifested through painless swelling in the breast or armpit, or swelling or bloating in the armpit, a change in the size or shape of the breast, the appearance of small holes or wrinkles on the skin – skin thickening or pitting and sometimes called orange peel, redness, swelling or high temperature of the affected breast, inverted nipple, that is, directed inwards, crusting or peeling in the nipple, and often other health problems other than cancer cause these symptoms, adding that the analyses remain the best diagnosis.
Emphasizing that the radiographic examination of the breast remains the effective means for early detection of breast cancers, because it allows the detection of asymptomatic tumors that cannot be touched by hand, and the diagnosis is correct in 90% of the cases, and subjecting the breast to an ultrasound examination would support the first examination, because it allows to clarify the nature of some formations in the breast, such as cysts, and for dense breasts, at the same time confirming that surgery is often the first treatment, as it is useful in removing the cancerous tumor, and in the case of breast cancer, it is preferable to remove the latter, followed by the process of radiation therapy, in order to eliminate cancerous cells that may remain in the breast, and in the case of the total ulceration process, radiation therapy is not necessary.
