US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the war with Iran would end "soon" because "there is practically nothing left to target."
Trump added, during a five-minute call with the Axios website: "Some simple things… when I want to end it, it will end."
Axios stated that Trump publicly indicated that his operation had largely achieved its goals, but US and Israeli officials confirmed that the US President had not yet issued any internal instructions on when to stop the fighting.
