Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that Iran is no longer what it was, after about two weeks of joint American-Israeli attacks, pointing out that its forces had suffered painful blows.
Netanyahu said, in his first press conference since the start of the war with Iran: "We want to complete the mission to eliminate the Iranian threat and ensure the security of Israel." He added: "I have carried out many secret and public operations to restrict Iran's capabilities.. The greatest danger to Israel is in Iran." He continued: "We are in historic days and the operation against Iran is continuing.. (And) Hezbollah will pay a heavy price for its aggression against Israel." The Israeli Prime Minister revealed: "We have achieved great achievements that will change the balance in the Middle East.. We are changing the Middle East and turning into a regional power and in some areas into a global power." Netanyahu highlighted: "The Iranian regime has put in place a plan to destroy Israel with ballistic missiles and attempt to develop a nuclear bomb." He also indicated that Ali Khamenei has been eliminated "and his son (Mojtaba) cannot appear publicly." Netanyahu addressed a message to the Iranian people saying: "We stand by you, but it is up to you.. We are working to provide the conditions for the Iranian people to expel the regime."
