The Moroccan actress, Dikra Benouis, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Theatrical Art and Cultural Animation, revealed in a special statement to "HIBAPRESS" newspaper about the feelings of pride and honor that overwhelm her on the occasion of her joining the cast of the famous Moroccan series "Bnat Lalla Menana" in its third part, describing this experience as "a childhood dream come true."
Dikra recalled her memories with the work that she followed when she was fourteen years old, pointing out that she never imagined that she would turn from a loyal follower of the series to one of its heroines who weave the threads of its new events, which made her feel an exceptional mix of surprise and deep joy when she received the offer. Regarding the behind-the-scenes of her preparation for the character of "Najla," Dikra explained that she did not need to go back to watch the previous parts to evoke the atmosphere, as the details of the work and its characters have remained firmly in her memory since adolescence, preferring to focus on building her new character's relationships with the dramatic environment, especially since the filming gave her a precious human opportunity to return to her hometown of Chefchaouen, which she left at the age of five, to find herself recalling her forgotten childhood memories between the alleys of the blue city that embraced the scenes of the work. In the context of her professional ambitions, Dikra confirmed to "HIBAPRESS" that she opens her heart to all artistic experiences, including comedy, which she has not yet experienced, stressing that her greatest desire lies in embodying the character of a girl with special needs, wishing to convey the voice of this group, which she considers very close to her conscience. She also expressed her lack of fear of bold roles as the character of the "evil woman," confirming that presenting such different templates is a primary goal for developing her acting tools and challenging herself away from stereotypical roles, relying on her previous theatrical experiences that gave her enough courage to embody complex characters. In addition to her passion for acting, the young actress revealed another aspect of her artistic interests, which is the world of writing, where she finds pleasure in formulating ideas and stories that may see the light in future projects, while leaving the door to directing ajar as a postponed step out of artistic curiosity. As for her professional news, she stated that her current focus is on the theater through national tours of her theatrical performances for this season, in parallel with consultations for new television projects that are still under negotiation, promising her audience to reveal their details as soon as they enter the official implementation phase.
