In an atmosphere of faith filled with humility and tranquility, the mosques of Al Hoceima province witnessed on the evening of Monday, 26 Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to March 16, 2026, a distinctive spiritual atmosphere on the occasion of commemorating the blessed Laylat al-Qadr, in a deep-rooted religious tradition that reflects the Moroccans' adherence to their ancient Islamic values and their inherited spiritual traditions generation after generation, under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory.
In this context, the Mohammed VI Mosque in the city of Al Hoceima hosted a magnificent religious ceremony headed by the governor of the province, Mr. Fouad Haji, in the presence of a number of civil and military figures, representatives of external interests, elected bodies, in addition to members of the local scientific council, as well as a large presence of citizens who flocked to the mosque to commemorate this blessed night in an atmosphere of worship and tranquility.
The commemoration of Laylat al-Qadr comes within the annual religious program supervised by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs across the various prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom, where this religious occasion was distinguished by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the completion of Sahih al-Bukhari, in addition to performing the Isha and Tarawih prayers in congregation, before the ceremony concluded with the completion of the Holy Quran amid a deep spiritual atmosphere that embodied the close connection of Moroccans with the Book of God and the values of the true Islamic religion.
This occasion concluded with raising hands in supplication to the Almighty, that He may protect His Majesty the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, and grant him good health and wellness, and grant him success in what is good for the nation and the benefit of the Moroccan people, and to perpetuate the blessing of security, stability, and prosperity on the Kingdom.
