HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Zariouh
The Al-Omrane neighborhood in the city of Al Aaroui in Nador witnessed a painful incident today, Tuesday, March 17th, leaving a wide echo in the city's circles. The body of a person was found inside an electrical transformer under mysterious circumstances, which raised a rapid alert among the security services and local authorities. One of the passersby noticed the door of the transformer open, so he approached to check the situation and discovered the body, immediately informing the concerned authorities.
As soon as the security teams arrived at the scene, the area was cordoned off and preliminary investigations began. Cut electrical wires were found next to the victim, which reinforces the hypothesis of an attempted theft that may have been behind the incident. A group of security officials, such as the head of the judicial squad and the head of the first security district, arrived, who took over the follow-up of the investigations accurately. In an important step, security and scientific teams lifted fingerprints and collected evidence from the site, while the civil protection teams and the authority's agents participated in the search efforts. The body of the victim was transferred to the morgue at Al Hassani Hospital in Nador, where it will undergo a medical autopsy under the instructions of the Public Prosecution, to reveal the real cause of death. Until now, all possibilities remain open within the ongoing investigations, which the authorities hope will yield clear results that reveal the circumstances of this mysterious incident, and determine if there were criminal motives behind the death.
