HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ouldali
The city of Al Hoceima is witnessing, in the hours leading up to Eid al-Fitr, an unprecedented state of overcrowding inside various commercial establishments, especially barber shops and tailors, which have seen a heavy turnout from citizens wishing to complete the final preparations for the holiday.
The pressure also extended to bakeries and points of sale of essential materials, where a large influx of residents was observed during the night, searching for bread, in light of the high demand and the advancement of the Eid date, which created a state of congestion and long waiting times. This situation reflects an exceptional dynamism that the city experiences on such occasions, but its intensity this year seemed more pronounced, which poses organizational challenges for professionals and local authorities to ensure the smooth flow of services and meet the needs of citizens in appropriate conditions.
