The death toll from Israeli raids on Lebanon since March 2 and until Friday has risen to 1021 dead and 2641 injured.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in its daily report issued by the Health Emergency Operations Center on the developments of the Israeli attacks on Lebanon that among the dead were 118 children, 824 men, and 79 women, while the number of injured children reached 370 children, 1856 men, in addition to 415 women. The Ministry clarified that among the victims were also 40 dead and 119 injured from those working in the health sector, pointing to the targeting of a number of hospitals, centers, and medical mechanisms. This comes in light of the continued Israeli escalation and the increasing humanitarian and health repercussions resulting from the ongoing attacks on wide areas in Lebanon. The security situation in Lebanon has witnessed a dangerous escalation since the dawn of Monday, March 2, with the expansion of air raids by Israeli aircraft in a large number of Lebanese regions.
