A number of followers of the Karkariya Zawiya welcomed a delegation of 12 people from France at Al Aaroui Airport in Nador today, Sunday, belonging to the Centre d’Études pour la Paix – Karuna Ceprobreiz.
The delegation received a warm welcome reflecting the authenticity of Moroccan generosity and the spirit of openness, where an atmosphere of mutual respect and love prevailed from the first moments of their arrival, in a step that reflects the sincere desire to build bridges of human communication and dialogue between religions. The aim of this visit is to get to know closely the teachings and upbringing of Sheikh Mohamed Fawzi Al-Karkari for his followers, within the framework of self-education and refinement, considering it the real basis for the reform of society, which is based on love and acceptance of the other. The delegation also seeks to learn about the Sufi experience that makes the reform of a person's self an entry point for reforming his surroundings, in accordance with the saying of God Almighty: “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” The members of the delegation expressed their interest in this deep spiritual dimension, stressing that such meetings open up new horizons for mutual understanding, and enhance the values of inner peace that are positively reflected on societies.
