The police services in the Marrakech security directorate were able to arrest a car guard in the old city this Thursday afternoon, immediately after the spread of a video documenting the latter's extortion of a car owner and demanding 20 dirhams in exchange for parking his car on the public street, which exceeds the tariff set by the municipal council.
The investigations carried out by the security services led to the identification of the guard, who was arrested and taken to the headquarters of the Fourth Security District in Arset El Maach. Based on the instructions of the competent Public Prosecution, the person in question was subjected to custody measures in order to complete the investigation procedures, to reveal all the circumstances surrounding this incident, with a view to presenting him before the judiciary.
