The municipality of El Bahalil, in the province of Sefrou, witnessed on Monday the official launch of the construction works for a first-level urban health center, in a step that falls within the efforts to strengthen the health infrastructure and bring medical services closer to citizens.
This project was launched during a field visit by a regional committee, in the presence of the mayor of El Bahalil and a number of members of the municipal council, in addition to the Pasha of the city, the director of the Regional Agency for Public Equipment, as well as the contractor in charge of implementing the project and the supervising engineer of the works.
This health project comes in the context of activating the outcomes of previous meetings, which aim to accelerate the pace of implementing priority projects, especially in the health sector, which is of increasing importance at the local and regional levels.
The expected health center is expected to constitute a qualitative addition to the health offer in the region, as it will provide a package of basic services, including medical consultations, diagnosis, primary care, as well as monitoring the health of the mother and child, vaccination services, and accompanying patients with chronic diseases.
In this context, the municipality of El Bahalil confirmed its continued involvement in various development initiatives that aim to improve the quality of basic services, especially health services, which contributes to raising the standard of living of the population and enhancing equitable access to health care.
This project is expected to contribute to reducing the pressure on neighboring health institutions and reducing the suffering of transportation for the residents of the municipality, especially in light of the increasing demand for basic medical services.
