The Iranian news agency "Tasnim" announced that the intelligence apparatus of the police of Khuzestan province, southwest of Iran, has arrested 138 people linked to the Zionist entity and the United States of America.
The agency explained that the security operation took place during the past 72 hours, following precise technical intelligence procedures and coordinated investigations, which resulted in the identification of the detainees who were in contact with hostile media, especially the Persian-speaking channels "Iran International" and "Manoto". According to the report, these people were previously making suspicious phone calls, in addition to photographing sensitive military and security sites in the province and sending the filmed materials to those hostile networks, in coordination with external parties. The agency pointed out that the arrests were made in coordination with the competent judicial authorities, confirming that the security apparatus is continuing its investigations to reveal all dimensions of this network and its external relations. It is worth mentioning that Khuzestan province, which is rich in oil and gas and includes vital strategic facilities, was previously the scene of multiple disturbances, and witnesses intensive security operations to prevent any sabotage or espionage activities.
