HIBAPRESS – Rabat
In his response to a point of order raised by a parliamentarian regarding the issue of weak communication, Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, affirmed that the door of his ministry is "open to all," whether parliamentarians or citizens, stressing that communication constitutes a fundamental pillar in the ministry's work.
Bensaid clarified that he understands the pressure experienced by parliamentarians, especially concerning following up on files and responding to citizens' concerns. However, he emphasized that the ministry is making a significant effort to ensure effective communication channels, whether through central departments or through the adopted institutional communication mechanisms. He added that openness to various actors, foremost among them the representatives of the nation, remains a constant and not a temporary choice. This discussion comes in the context of a meeting of the Education, Culture, and Communication Committee, attended by Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, in order to present draft law No. 09.26 related to the reorganization of the National Press Council, a meeting that provided an opportunity to raise a number of issues related to sector management, primarily the issue of communication and interaction with the legislative institution.
