The prefecture of Fez witnessed, in the last hours, a state of sadness and grief among the men and women of authority, after finding one of its administrative cadres, who held the position of the successor of a commander, dead inside his official residence.
According to the preliminary available data, the deceased, 63 years old, was performing his duties in a number of administrative annexes in the old city and the Saiss Bab al-Ghoul area, before he was found dead inside his residence located in the Al-Chorta Akdal district. Upon being notified of the incident, the local authorities and elements of the national security moved to the scene, accompanied by civil defense teams, where the legal procedures in place in such cases were taken. The body of the deceased was also transferred to the mortuary, in order to subject it to the necessary examinations, pending the completion of the investigation procedure under the supervision of the competent public prosecution. This painful incident left a shock and a state of deep emotion among the deceased’s colleagues and acquaintances, who praised his professional and humanitarian qualities, pointing out that he was an example of discipline and dedication in performing his administrative duties. This, the circumstances and circumstances of the death are still the subject of an investigation by the competent authorities, to reveal the real reasons behind this incident.
