HIBAPRESS – Mohammed El Harouali
Security forces in the city of Marrakech, two days ago, managed to arrest the son of a mosque imam suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, following a precise security operation that followed careful monitoring of his movements.
According to informed sources, the person in question was arrested in the Safsaf neighborhood of the Menara district while in possession of a significant quantity of hashish, amounting to 20 kilograms, which was intended for distribution. The same sources added that the operation resulted in the arrest of three other people suspected of being linked to the case, while initial data suggests the existence of organized activity. Security forces moved to the Al-Bahja neighborhood, where a raid was carried out as part of deepening the investigation and uncovering other possible extensions. All those arrested have been placed under custody by order of the competent Public Prosecution, pending the completion of investigations and their presentation to justice.
