The Royal Gendarmerie elements at the territorial center of Boukdrara, belonging to the Safi province, managed to arrest a 60-year-old person working as a فقيه, at the Douar of D’eijat in the Al-Amamra area, after suspicion of his involvement in a case related to the possession and promotion of drugs.
This operation came within the framework of a security intervention supervised by the regional command of the Royal Gendarmerie in Safi, where the search operation resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of drugs, which was more than 200 kilograms of kif spikes, in addition to about 70 kilograms of "Taba" substance. According to the available data, the person in question was arrested before being placed under the precautionary custody by order of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to deepen the investigation and uncover all the potential extensions of this criminal activity. This operation falls within the framework of the intensive security campaigns that the Royal Gendarmerie services are carrying out to combat various forms of crime, especially those related to drug trafficking, and to enhance the sense of security among the population.
