According to informed sources, the Royal Gendarmerie elements in the city of Marrakech arrested this Thursday afternoon a professional driver who had previously posted a video on social media, accusing the Royal Gendarmerie elements in the Akfai community, near the city, of extortion.
According to the same sources, the professional driver was summoned by the Gendarmerie elements on instructions from the Public Prosecution, in order to hear him and provide evidence to support his statements and accusation against the Gendarmerie, but he confirmed that he was suffering from a mental illness. On the instructions of the Public Prosecution, the driver was placed under custody, in order to deepen the investigation and reveal the reasons behind his claims, before being brought before the court.
