The judicial police elements of the Casablanca security directorate managed, in the early hours of Friday, April 3rd, to arrest a 26-year-old person with a criminal record, on suspicion of involvement in a case related to the possession and trafficking of drugs and intentionally insulting and harming a public official while performing his duties.
The elements of the anti-gang squad had apprehended the person concerned, on Thursday evening, in a light car in the "Sidi Othman" district of Casablanca, as he was the subject of national search warrants, on suspicion of his involvement in cases related to the trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances, but he did not comply and fled in his vehicle after he ran over a policeman, causing him injuries.
The ongoing investigations and investigations in this case resulted in the arrest of the suspect after a short time of committing these criminal acts, before the seizure and search operation led to the discovery of 892 hallucinogenic pills of different types and 70 grams of cocaine in his possession, in addition to an electronic scale and a sum of money suspected to be from the proceeds of this criminal activity.
The suspect has been kept under custody pending the judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to reveal all the circumstances and circumstances of this case, as well as to determine all the criminal acts attributed to the person concerned.
