The head of the Strategic Studies Center of the Iranian Army, Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, said that the "Nohad" Brigade is fully prepared to confront any ground invasion by the enemy, considering that the United States is in a strategic impasse.
Pourdastan pointed to the full readiness of the 65th Nohad Brigade (the 65th Brigade of Special Airborne Forces of the Army) to confront any enemy scenario. He also mentioned the "structural collapse of America," saying: "Enemies are seeking to change the scene of the game to get out of the strategic impasse, but any ground invasion is doomed to fail from the beginning." He considered that "the intelligence analysis of America and the Zionist entity about the defensive and offensive capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran was wrong, and this error formed the basis of an operation that has cast its shadow today not only on the West Asia region but on the whole world, and brought it to face a dangerous challenge." He stressed that "the goal of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not to close the Strait of Hormuz, and as is noted, navigation in it continues; but another method has been adopted towards the enemies and the countries cooperating with them."
