The security elements at the judicial barrier at the entrance to the city of Souiria managed on Saturday to arrest one of the suspects in the theft of a car from the city of Youssoufia last Tuesday.
The arrest operation by the security elements took place after the suspect arrived in the city of Souiria on board the stolen car, and he was arrested after verifying its registration number. The detainee had previously stolen the car from the city of Youssoufia, after sneaking into a public bath and seizing the car keys. The police elements were notified, and a search warrant was issued for the detainee, as well as the stolen car. The detainee was taken to the security headquarters, pending his transfer to the city of Youssoufia, in order to deepen the investigation, and to place him under police custody, before presenting him to the Public Prosecution.
