Casablanca stock exchange opens session slightly up

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began Tuesday’s session slightly up in early trading, with its main index, the MASI, gaining 0.05% to 12,180.63 points.

A few minutes after the opening, the Morocco Stock Index (MSI 20), which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, also gained 0.05% to 981.98 points, and the Casablanca ESG 10 index also rose by 0.1% to 908.55 points.

On the upside, Cartier Saada recorded the largest increase (+4.81% to MAD 28.3), ahead of Disway (+3.4% to MAD 760), and BMCI (+2.64% to MAD 483.95).

In contrast, Fenie Brossette showed the highest drop (-1.3% to MAD 140), followed by Sonasid (-0.86% to MAD 694), and Douja Prom Addoha (-0.12% to MAD 8.24).

As of yesterday at the closing, the MASI index ended the session down by 0.2%.
