The city of Fez is preparing to host the eighth edition of the National Forum for Fine Arts, which will be held from April 24 to May 2, 2026, under the slogan: "Fez Spectrum: Embodiment of Color and Memory," at the Olive Gallery located around the Ain Amir roundabout.
This artistic event comes to confirm Fez's position as a hub for Moroccan visual memory, where the forum aims to evoke the deep relationship between color and memory, through a contemporary artistic reading of heritage, blending authenticity and aesthetic openness. The spectrum refers to the diversity of schools and artistic styles participating, while memory symbolizes the cultural heritage that forms the source of artistic creativity. The Olive Gallery will host the forum's events in a space that combines architectural modernity and the authentic Moroccan spirit, giving the displayed works an additional aesthetic dimension and harmonizing with the cultural and tourist character of the region. The forum offers a diverse program, including a group exhibition featuring paintings and sculptures by fine artists from various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to interactive artistic workshops that allow the public to engage in the creative experience, as well as cultural and intellectual dialogues that discuss the roles of art in preserving collective memory and enhancing the Moroccan artistic identity. The organizing committee confirmed that this forum goes beyond being just an art exhibition, to form an open invitation to delve into a world of colors that tell history and evoke memory, considering that the choice of Fez was not arbitrary, but because it is a living treasury of heritage and visual symbols that have inspired generations of artists. The organizing committee extends an open invitation to artists, art and culture enthusiasts, the media, and the general public, to attend this national event that celebrates fine art and dedicates art as a bridge for communication between the past and the present.
