HIBAPRESS – Mohammed Zariouh
Parliamentary advisor and former president of the Beni Ansar city council, Yahya Yahya, directed a series of harsh criticisms against some of the vice presidents in a meeting held today, Wednesday, at the council headquarters. Yahya used the occasion to level serious accusations against some members, accusing them of seizing the property of widows, accusations that sparked widespread controversy in the local circles.
In a notable development, Yahya strongly criticized one of the vice presidents, saying: “You, the lands of the Hajjalas, may God forgive you…”. He also did not hesitate to attack another deputy, saying to him: “You only have two days left and you will die, and you are still greedy for the presidency,” referring to his failed attempts to win the presidency. The largest share of the criticism was directed at the council president, where Yahya confirmed his intention to remove him if he runs for the next elections, saying to him: “You, by the grace of God and thanks to the residents of Beni Ansar and Farhana, we will remove you and the viruses around you…”. These statements reflect Yahya's intention to run in the upcoming community elections. Sources close to Yahya also learned about the preparation of a field movement aimed at involving the residents of Beni Ansar, especially in light of the resentment caused by the Martchica Lagoon rehabilitation project, which was widely criticized for its negative impact on the situation in the city.
