The Ain Borja area of Casablanca witnessed rapid developments following the clashes that accompanied the eviction of the firing range, where the Public Prosecutor decided to prosecute 7 individuals in custody, after their involvement in acts of violence that included throwing stones and glass bottles at public force elements.
According to the available data, among the detainees are four minors, who were presented to the justice system within the framework of the applicable legal procedures, following a security intervention to restore order during the eviction process, which witnessed a state of tension and congestion among some protesters. The data indicates that those being prosecuted face charges related to the use of violence, insulting public officials during and because of their performance of their duties, causing damage to state property through stone throwing, in addition to attempting to endanger the physical safety of others. It has been decided to set an immediate session to consider this case in Hall No. 4 at the Ain Sebaa Criminal Primary Court, where the defendants are expected to be heard and the charges against them will be discussed within the framework of the law. These prosecutions come in the context of the authorities' keenness to enforce respect for the law and address all forms of violence, especially those that target the safety of the public forces and threaten public order, at a time when investigations are continuing to uncover the remaining potential perpetrators in these events.
