HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
The city of Meknes is witnessing unprecedented dynamism, within the framework of intensive preparations to host the events of the International Agricultural Exhibition, which is expected to start on April 20th. The Regional Multi-Service Company has increased the pace of its field interventions to ensure the city's readiness in the best conditions.
In this context, various technical teams affiliated with the company have been engaged in continuous work, day and night, with the aim of addressing a number of "black spots" that were affecting the aesthetics of urban spaces and the quality of basic services. These interventions include repairing water and liquid sanitation networks, rehabilitating infrastructure, in addition to improving public lighting on various vital axes of the city. These efforts fall within a comprehensive vision that aims to present the city of Meknes in a new look that befits its status as an agricultural capital of the Kingdom, and a destination to host major international events that attract thousands of visitors and professionals from inside and outside Morocco. For his part, the General Manager of the Regional Multi-Service Company, Mohamed Chawi, closely follows the progress of these works, through daily field visits to assess the progress of the workshops, and ensure compliance with the deadlines and the quality of the completion. He also ensures the mobilization of the necessary human and technical resources to accelerate the pace of work and achieve the planned goals on time. It is expected that this comprehensive mobilization will contribute to improving the city's image and enhancing its attractiveness, in line with the economic and tourism stakes associated with the organization of the International Agricultural Exhibition, which is one of the most prominent events on the African continent. The eyes remain focused on the extent of the success of these preparations in presenting a distinguished version of the exhibition, reflecting the developmental dynamics that the Fez-Meknes region is experiencing, and confirming its ability to organize international events to high standards.
