Omar Essghrouchni, Chairman of the Right to Information Committee (CDAI), and Wafaa Jamali, Director General of the National Social Support Agency ((ANSS, presided over the signing ceremony of a partnership agreement regarding the National Social Support Agency's joining of the National Portal for the Right to Information. (PNDAI)
It is worth noting that the National Portal for the Right to Information (PNDAI) is a digital platform managed by the Right to Information Committee, enabling citizens and foreign residents legally residing in Morocco to submit and track requests for information, in addition to related complaints, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 31.13 concerning the right to information. This portal also enables the relevant institutions and bodies, as referred to in Article 2 of the aforementioned Law No. 31.13, to respond to these requests and related complaints while providing data and indicators for the benefit of this participating institution, which allows for the development of service quality and the enhancement of the effectiveness of the right to information system. It is worth noting that the National Portal for the Right to Information is a digital channel alongside the physical submission channel. The National Social Support Agency considers this joining a conscious institutional choice, embodying its actual involvement in enshrining the right to access information, as an original constitutional right, guaranteed under Article 27 of the Kingdom's Constitution, and a fundamental lever for consolidating the principles of transparency, equality, and fairness in accessing public information. This direction expresses the agency's awareness that providing information, equally for individuals and institutions, constitutes a fundamental entry point for improving the quality of public services, especially in the field of social support. The agency is committed to providing organized, clear, and facilitated access to information within its area of competence, in accordance with regulatory legal controls and simplified digital procedures, which at the same time ensure a formal framework for obtaining reliable information and securing the necessary protection for personal data and preserving the privacy of users. This agreement also constitutes a practical translation of the parties' commitment to strengthening the effective implementation of the right to information and facilitating its practice for its applicants, within the framework of constructive institutional cooperation, which consolidates a culture of openness and transparency within the public facility and contributes to raising the level of efficiency in its management.
