HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyoui
Two people died this Monday dawn following a traffic accident that occurred on the road linking Taza and Aknioul, at the level of the Eastern Meknassa territorial community.
According to preliminary data, the accident resulted from a light vehicle veering off its course, which is likely due to the driver losing control of the vehicle, leading to its overturning and the death of the two victims at the scene.
Immediately upon being notified of the incident, elements of the Civil Protection and the Royal Gendarmerie services moved to the accident site, where the surrounding area was secured and traffic was organized to avoid any potential disruptions.
The bodies of the two victims were also transported to the morgue at Ibn Baja Regional Hospital in Taza, while the competent authorities initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
