King Mohammed VI appointed today, Tuesday, Al-Yazid Al-Radi as the new Secretary-General of the Higher Scientific Council, succeeding Mohamed Yssef.
The following is the statement issued by the Royal Cabinet:
"His Majesty, the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, received on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, corresponding to 26 Shawwal 1447 AH, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Mr. Mohamed Yssef, the former Secretary-General of the Higher Scientific Council, and decorated him with the Order of the Throne, Grade of Grand Officer, in appreciation of the great services he rendered to his religion, his nation, and his king, in the various tasks and responsibilities he held. Following that, His Majesty, the Commander of the Faithful, may God protect him, received Mr. Al-Yazid Al-Radi, and His Majesty appointed him Secretary-General of the Higher Scientific Council."
