HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher
The security elements of the traffic department in the fifth security zone launched a large-scale campaign this Wednesday morning targeting motorcycles parked on sidewalks in the streets and neighborhoods of Dar El Bacha. This campaign is part of the efforts to maintain public order, ensure smooth traffic flow, and protect pedestrian safety.
During this campaign, which was supervised by the head of the traffic department in the fifth security zone, a number of motorcycles that were obstructing pedestrians in the Dar El Bacha neighborhood were impounded. The security authorities stressed the need to respect the laws regulating the parking of vehicles in public spaces, and warnings were also issued to a number of motorcycle owners regarding the need to comply with the applicable laws to avoid penalties. This operation comes within the framework of a security strategy aimed at organizing the public space and reducing the chaos caused by some illegal actions, especially the illegal occupation of sidewalks. This campaign was met with approval from the local residents, who have long complained about the obstruction of sidewalks and the difficulty of movement due to the random parking of motorcycles.
