As part of ongoing efforts to enhance security around educational institutions, and in implementation of the instructions of Allal Al-Baz, the regional and local authorities in the Boulemane province have initiated a series of field interventions aimed at ensuring the safety of students and educational staff, and consolidating the sense of security within and around educational spaces.
In this context, the local authorities of the Boulemane district, at the level of the Kikou, Sgoura and Enjil commands, are keen to organize regular and intensive security patrols around various educational institutions, in close coordination with various security services. These field operations are carried out in partnership with elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and auxiliary forces, with the active participation of the authorities' agents, where these patrols take a preventive, awareness-raising and deterrent nature at the same time, by addressing various deviant behaviors and enhancing monitoring around schools. These initiatives aim to reduce negative phenomena that may affect the normal course of study, such as school violence, harassment, or the consumption of certain prohibited substances, in addition to securing the environment of institutions during entry and exit periods, which ensures the protection of students and enhances the trust of families in the educational system. These moves have been widely appreciated by the educational and teaching family, as well as civil society activists, including parents' associations and guardians of students, who praised the efforts made by the authorities, considering them an important step towards providing a safe school environment and encouraging academic achievement. This continuous security coordination reflects the public authorities' keenness to make the educational institution a safe space, in line with the reforms aimed at upgrading the educational system, and enshrines a proactive approach based on prevention and awareness alongside deterrent intervention when necessary.
