HIBAPRESS – Abdelatif Elbaz
In the style of action movies, the city of Naples witnessed a sensational security operation after a gang held 25 hostages inside a bank, before negotiations succeeded in freeing all the detained employees without any injuries.
According to consistent data, the operation ended peacefully, but the remarkable development was the gang members' ability to escape in circumstances described as "Hollywood-esque," with eyewitnesses stating that the perpetrators fled through a secret tunnel believed to have been prepared in advance. The Italian authorities have launched extensive investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and track down the escapees, amid questions about how the escape operation was carried out despite the strict security cordon imposed by security forces around the bank.
