The body supervising the celebrations of "Tetouan, the Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue for the year 2026" announced the cancellation of all activities and events scheduled for today, Saturday, following the tragic incident witnessed in the Old City, which was the collapse of a residential house, which resulted in the death of two children.
The press release issued by the body explained that the cancellation decision includes all events, including the artistic evening that was expected at the Spanish Theater, in addition to the carnival and other activities that were previously scheduled as part of the celebrations program. The body expressed its deep sadness and deep emotion at this great tragedy, offering its warmest condolences and most sincere feelings of consolation to the family of the two children, in this painful tragedy.
