The police elements of the regional district in the city of Guercif, in close coordination with the services of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, managed, on Monday evening, to arrest a person born in 2004, suspected of being involved in cases related to fraud, within the framework of the continuous efforts to combat crime and enhance the sense of security among citizens.
According to consistent data, this security operation was carried out in a cafe located in the urban center of Ghayata, where field interventions resulted in the arrest of the person in question, after suspicion of his involvement in fraudulent operations targeting a number of victims through deceptive methods and techniques. The person in question was subjected to the measures of custodial detention under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to deepen the investigation and uncover all the criminal acts attributed to him, as well as identify the remaining possible extensions of this criminal activity, pending his presentation to justice to take the necessary measures against him.
