The Moroccan women's national team has risen four places in the FIFA world ranking for women's national teams, reaching 62nd place worldwide with 1403 points, thus confirming the progress of the "Atlas Lionesses" internationally.
At the continental level, the Moroccan team came in fourth place behind Nigeria (36th globally), South Africa (58th), and Ghana (59th), in a strong competition among African teams.
This progress comes after a series of positive results, including victories over Cape Verde and Tanzania with a score of 3-0 for each match, and a 1-1 draw against Mali, as part of the team's preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations finals.
