The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Friday, thunderous rain showers over the Rif, Atlas, and their adjacent eastern foothills, as well as in the Eastern Region.
Rain drops accompanied by thunder will be observed in the southeastern and southernmost parts of the country. Low clouds, which will be somewhat dense, will continue to spread in the morning over the Atlantic Ocean coasts and plains, as well as over the Mediterranean Sea coasts, where there is a chance of very light rain drops or localized fog patches.
Moderate gusts of wind are also expected over the southern coasts.
Minimum temperatures will range between 04 degrees and 10 degrees in the Atlas and Rif mountains, between 10 degrees and 15 degrees in the Eastern Region, and the eastern foothills of the Atlas. Temperatures will range between 22 degrees and 25 degrees in the interior of the Gharb and Souss regions, the Tangier region, and the south of the country, and between 15 degrees and 22 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
Daytime temperatures will rise in the Eastern Region and the southeastern part of the country, while they will decrease or remain unchanged in the rest of the regions.
The sea will be slightly rough to rough on the Mediterranean facade, the Strait, and along the Atlantic coast.
