HIBAPRESS – Khemisset
The residents of Al-Wahda neighborhood in the city of Khemisset woke up on Sunday morning to a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a young man in his twenties, following a dispute that erupted between him and other parties, according to initial information.
According to concordant sources, a heated dispute occurred in the aforementioned neighborhood, which, under mysterious circumstances, escalated into a serious physical assault, causing the victim to sustain severe injuries that led to his death at the scene. This left the residents of the area and the deceased's acquaintances in a state of shock and condemnation.
Upon being informed of the incident, the neighborhood witnessed a wide security alert, as local authorities and judicial and technical police elements arrived at the scene to conduct initial investigations and collect evidence and clues to unravel the details of this incident.
The body of the victim was transferred to the morgue at the Khemisset Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination, by order of the competent public prosecution, to determine the exact cause of death.
While security services continue their initial investigations and research to determine the motives of the crime and apprehend the presumed perpetrators, the circumstances and precise details of the incident remain pending the outcome of the ongoing official investigations under the supervision of the Public Prosecution.
